The money was raised at event organised by PWM Advice at the Washington and Co whiskey saloon.
PWM Advice director Darren Tindall said the business had sponsored the White Tie Ball but wanted to do more to help.
Businesses including Mane Mann, the Agrestic Grocer, Snap Fitness, Washington and Co and others contributed prizes to be auctioned and raffled off during the night.
“We’re very pleased with how much was raised and we appreciate the community’s support,” Mr Tindall said.
Housing Plus’ events and marketing co-ordinator Kate Noller said the money meant there was a total $500,000 raised so far for the crisis shelter.
She said the goal was to raise $1.8 million so a domestic violence shelter run for the community could be built in Orange.
