Officers say the woman entered a shop on Summer Street and removed an item from its packaging before leaving the store without paying.
Police fined the woman $300.
In other matters;
- A 22-year-old man has been charged with destroying or damaging property on Tuesday. Police say the man damaged a vehicle in a domestic violence related incident.
- A bicycle was stolen from Amaroo Crescent between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Tuesday.
