IT'S common knowledge that Orange is a gorgeous sight to see in autumn, but if you needed any extra proof, this competition is it.
We asked our readers for their photos of our city and surrounds for a photo gallery named Shades of Orange: our beautiful autumn colours.
The result - the gallery above - is simply beautiful.
Now, we'd like your help to determine the best photo. Just vote for your favourite in the poll below and you'll be helping that photographer win a $100 photo printing card courtesy of our generous sponsors Harvey Norman Computers Orange.
Voting for this readers' choice award will close at 12pm on Friday, May 26, with the winner revealed in the newspaper and at www.centralwesterndaily.com.au on Monday, May 29.
In addition, a panel of three experts - Central Western Daily photographer Jude Keogh, Harvey Norman Computers' Simon Tew and Orange Camera Club's Stephen Scott-Robertson - will choose their favourites, with those photographers to also receive a $100 photo printing card courtesy of Harvey Norman Computers Orange.
The best photo overall - as chosen by the experts - will be published on the front page of the Central Western Daily's print edition on Monday, May 29, as well as being used as the cover photo for the Central Western Daily's Facebook page for the next month.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted photos in the past week. Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming response, we were unable to include every photo, but each photographer who entered will find at least one of their photos included in both the gallery and in the poll.
