A fashion parade featuring women’s autumn clothing will take place at Duntryleague on Saturday to raise money for chord blood research.

Hosted by the Inner Wheel Club of Orange, the fashion parade fundraiser will feature designs from women’s clothing store Fella Hamilton.
Inner Wheel Club of Orange president Janet Jackson said the club, along with other inner wheel clubs from across Australia, raises money for the cause each year.
“We feel that cord blood research and stem cell research is really important,” Mrs Jackson said.
“Instead of discarding [the blood from babies’ umbilical cords] they are doing a lot with it.”
She the the aim of the event is also to create awareness in the community of cord blood to support research into the collection, transport and uses of cord blood in curing diseases with the most common need at the moment being for children with acute leukaemia.
The fashion parade will be at 2pm and tickets are available at Fella Hamilton shop for $20 each.
