Blayney golf club president Mick Miskell said that he was disappointed that once again the club had been hit.

“We’re run by volunteers and we work hard to keep this place going,” he said.

“We had two blokes knock us over about this time last year and to have it happen again, well they should know by now we have nothing here to steal.”

Although he can’t confirm it, Mr Miskell thinks that it’s entirely possible that it’s the same two men.

Watching the video of the event, Mr Miskell believes that the pair knew exactly where they needed to go.

“They head straight for the machines and then go into the room looking for the keys,” he said.

“When they can’t find it one of them keeps an eye out while the other tips the machine over and tries to get the cash box open.”

With no success on retrieving the cash with a hastily used putter, the men pushed the machine out the door and into the back of what appears to be a late 1990’s Mitsubishi Triton ute.

The president of the Lyndhurst Golf Club, Bill Marmion, said that he was uncertain exactly when the club was broken into as it was closed on Monday.

Like the Blayney club, Mr Marmion said that there is nothing of any real value at the club.

“We don’t even have any poker machines out here,” he said, “They took some bottles of grog, top shelf and bottom, and that’s it.”

Mr Marmion said that he was notified at about 10am by neighbours.

“They drove past and noticed that the door was open then they called me,” he said.
