Mr Mandel is on a mission to raise awareness and funds for Lifeline, through a classical guitar street performing tour across Australia.
He said he wanted to remind as many Australians about the telephone counselling service as possible.
“Speaking to my fellow Australians, if you are experiencing deep personal crises such as abuse, trauma, violence, bullying, mental illness, drug, alcohol or gambling addiction, stress from family or work, and that includes suicidal thoughts and attempts, please do call Lifeline on 13 11 14,” he said.
Mr Mandel will be playing music and collecting donations at the front of Woolworths supermarket in Anson Street on Wednesday and Thursday.
