They’ve gotten a big hand up with Member for Orange Phil Donato handing over $4672 from the state government’s local sport grant program.
It will be used for new competition-grade electronic scoreboards.
“We’ve always had the Western League finals here and hosted 20 teams coming to Orange,” association president Gerald Power said.
“This year that went to Bathurst due to the older scoreboards,” he said.
It’s not just about securing big games like Country Premier League, but also improvements for local players.
“We’ve got some pretty talented players here, like Matty Gray,” Mr Power said.
