Mannix helped guide her NSW State side to third in the championships, while Litchfield and Townsend both played leading hands as their NSW Blue team claimed fourth, edging first outfits from Western Australia, the ACT and Northern Territory.
Mannix scored a goal in her side’s 8-0 win over South Australia, while Litchfield and Townsend were creative through the Blue midfield as their side racked up three wins and two draws in seven games.
Victoria Blue won the national title, defeating Queensland (1) in the final.
Meanwhile, Confederates star Eva Reith-Snare is in the middle of her NSW under 18s side’s own national championship campaign, at Hobart.
