THE Great Western Highway has been re-opened after this morning’s accident east of Bathurst.
Livetraffic.com.au reports that the “multi-vehicle crash has been cleared” and that traffic on the highway is returning to normal.
The earlier diversions are no longer in place.
MONDAY, 8.30AM:
EMERGENCY services are on scene at a three car accident on the Great Western Highway east of Bathurst.
The accident is at Raglan, near Napoleon Street and occurred just after 8am on Monday.
Live Traffic has advised the highway is closed in both directions.
Diversions are in place with eastbound motorists advised to travel via Napoleon Street to Christie Street, Eugenie Street and then rejoin the Great Western Highway.
Westbound motorists are advised to do the reverse of the eastbound diversion.
This diversion is suitable for all vehicles, except B-doubles.
