That’s the best way to describe Orange heading into this weekend’s second round of Netball NSW Central West Regional League fixtures on Sunday, at Sir Neville Howse Stadium.
The confidence comes from the 21 straight titles the Thunder have won, and the demolition job Orange did on Bathurst, Mudgee and Nyngan on the opening day of competition a fortnight ago.
The wariness comes from the fact Mudgee remains a virtual unknown, on its day Bathurst is capable of anything and Nyngan was the surprise packet of last year’s competition.
The latter side is also expected to have several players returning, who didn’t play when the Thunder dismantled them 65-23 two weeks ago.
Orange’s youthful side was superb that day and is expected to be bolstered substantially by mercurial shooter Erin Johnstone’s return.
Orange’s division two side is also unbeaten heading into Sunday’s second day of fixtures.
