Lolli Redini, in Sale Street, and Racine, on Lake Canobolas Road, joined Tonic in Millthorpe on the coveted list.
The 500 finalists on the Australian Financial Review Top Restaurants list are spread across Australia’s capital cities and some regional venues.
However, the only restaurant in the Central West outside of Orange/Millthorpe to make this year’s list was The Zin House in Mudgee.
In a sign that in the restaurant business you can’t rest on your laurels, Lolli Redini, Racine and Tonic all made the same list last year.
It was compiled by a team of Good Food Guide editors.
Each restaurant will now vote for 10 other restaurants on the list.
The most popular will make the annual rankings of Australia’s Top 100 Restaurants, which will be announced on June 19 at a gala event at The Star, Sydney.
None of the local restaurants qualified for the top 100 list last year.
