Ms Wood has linked with Julian May Physio and Rehab on Bathurst Road in the Wellness Centre.
Mr May said he was expanding his practice and Ms Wood was available for injuries, pain management and people with disabilities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
“Jocelyn has worked in Orange for almost two decades and she’s re-joined in the past few weeks,” he said.
“She’s returning from time away and she’s looking to reconnect with her old clients.”
ON THE MOVE
Melinda and Jeremy Reid have big dreams for their new business, JMR Portable Buildings at Clergate.
They specialise in providing portable buildings for everything from offices, granny flats, man caves or even extra bedrooms.
Mrs Reid said the buildings could be easily customised to include verandahs.
She said the goal was to grow the business into a full-time operation which provided employment in Orange.
“They can also be used to create extra rental income, they’re an alternative for younger people to own their own home,” Mrs Reid said.
She said it would cost about $40,000 to supply a one-bedroom granny flat in Orange with a two bedroom unit from $60,000.
MINING AWARD
The PJL Group has won an outstanding supplier award at the NSW Mining Industry and Suppliers Awards.
General manager Luke Buckland said the award for the Leewood Drive mechanical and engineering business was a reward for hard work.
“It’s a real feather in our cap,” he said.
“The Mining Industry and Suppliers Awards recognise the people and the businesses whose hard work and achievements help to make NSW mining strong.”
Mr Buckland said the award acknowledged PJL’s ability to add value to mining operations either through an ongoing relationship with a business, or through individual projects.
He said the company was now in the second decade of operation with about 300 staff.
“They have built a proud reputation as one of the most productive, efficient and safe teams in our industry sector.”
The award will be presented at NSW Parliament House on April 6.
