Kinross’ open side won through the grand final against the Rock Lobsters, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday night but was postponed due to the wild weather conditions.
This year also marked the first minor premiership Kinross has claimed in the Bathurst competition, although the students have been hugely successful recently – making two of the past grand finals, and qualifying for the semi-finals in six of the past eight seasons.
It was also the first year Kinross entered two sides in the competition, the student’s second team will face the Screaming Jets in the third place play-off.

“Let’s hope Orange can beat Bathurst in something for once,” Marjoram said.
On top of that, the 94-strong Kinross club also had three NSW Country representatives in Emma Holman, Sophie Hay-McKenzie and Tanner Marjoram and several others who trialed and earned selection for Combined Independant Schools.
The finals are yet to be rescheduled.
