Children, parents and teachers held a funky hair day, which raised $350 for the Leukemia Foundation.
Teacher Amy Collins said children and their parents got behind the cause with enthusiasm.
“This is the biggest fundraiser we’ve had for a number of years,” Mrs Collins said.
“We talked about why we’re doing it.”
Mrs Collins said the children enjoyed the opportunity to do each other’s hair.
“We had some chalks and different bits and bobs [the children] could put in hair,” she said.
The Leukemia Foundation funds research and provides free services for people living with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders.
