The perennial powerhouse Duntryleague side takes on reigning champions and division one leaders Mudgee, in a mouth-watering, pool A top-of-the-table clash at Wellington.
It’s also the first time the two sides have met since last year’s grand final, which Mudgee won 3-2 at Ex-Services Country Club – its first title win in 109 years.
Mudgee currently leads Duntryleague by 1.4 points, but has a game in hand as well.
Dubbo (0.2) is in third and Wentworth is fourth (0.1).
While the latter side, like Duntryleague, has only played one game and picked up two individual wins in that, Wentworth has suffered two losses from its opening two fixtures.
Dubbo and Wentworth play off, also at Wellington, in a must-win fixture.
Wentworth plays Blayney in division two and Ex-Services in divisions three and four, all at Wellington.
Duntryleague plays Forbes in division two and Bathurst in divisions three and four, all at Parkes Golf Club.
Duntryleague’s lower grades are in pool B, which is why they play at different courses than their top side.
