Spokesman for Marathon Health, which is responsible for several Headspace groups, Anna Arrow, said they were seeking people aged from 14-25 to join the Headspace Youth Reference Group.
“It’s a unique opportunity for young people in the community,” she said.
“This sort of organisation relies on youth participation.
“Anyone who has particular passion in getting involved in the community, organising events, mental health, drugs and alcohol and sexual health, all the things that young people are going through, we would welcome them.”
Mrs Arrow said groups in Bathurst and Dubbo had organised Youth Week events.
“It gives them that voice in the community,” she said.
You can apply by ringing Headspace Orange on 6369 9300 by this Friday.
