After finishing fifth with two wins and three losses in the preliminary stages, NSW missed the finals but was forced to take on Western Australia to avoid the wooden spoon.
Crawford and Pallier’s NSW side came up trumps to hand WA last place, winning 80-64.
Crawford and Pallier were strong throughout NSW’s campaign, finishing as two of the sky blues’ three top point-scorers.
Pallier averaged almost 13 points per game in the fixtures he played to top the list while Crawford was third, averaging almost 10 points per game.
Victoria claimed the men’s title to go along with their win in the women’s Ivor Burge Championship, beating South Australia 78-43 in the gold medal game.
