Eight of the competitors hail from Orange including brothers Kiel and Joel Swadling, Ed Newton, Ray Hawkins, John Spicer, Slade Anlezark, Raymond Giffin and Josh Goldie, if his Corolla is repaired in time.
The Corolla barrel rolled on Sunday whilst leading heat two of the New Star Junior Class in the hands of young son, Jackson Goldie at the ACT Speedway and luckily all of the young drivers involved including Jaiden Healey and Bek Giffin escaped uninjured.
The program features five tin top sedan classes and three fabulous open wheeler classes.
Step back in time with the superbly restored Vintage Speedcars and Vintage Modifieds plus the close racing Quarter Midgets.
Get your backside trackside for almost six hours of speedway excitement at with over fifty events for the tin top stock cars and the very fast open wheelers.
The stock car stars will be contesting another round of their Portland club championship over three heats and a feature race - the RSA Street Stockers,Series Production,Four Cylinders plus the new “all stars (14-16 years) and new stars (10-13 years) ” Junior class all racing for their yearly pointscore.
Driving stars from Sydney,the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Bathurst, Orange, Canberra, Blayney, Oberon, Dubbo, Gilgandra and Nowra will battle it out wheel to wheel on the oval track and you won't miss one second of the action – come on out and cheer your favorite driver to the chequered flag.
The meeting commencing at 4pm on Febraury 25, at the Cullen Bullen Raceway situated just off the Castlereagh Highway.
Spectators are also reminded, as a condition of entry, that children must be supervised at all times.
