Police were called to the service station at 10pm on Sunday.
Police are looking for a Caucasian male, described as short, chubby with receding dark brown hair, who was wearing a black and green long sleeve jumper with a white stripe down the middle, cream pants and was covering his face with a grey scarf.
The victim thought that he could see a round barrel pointing out from underneath the man’s clothes.
The man stole $1905 from the till before he left on foot headed towards Binstead Street.
Both Blayney police and detectives from Chifley Local Area Command attended.
