A MAN has been charged with various traffic offences after a pursuit with a car from Orange.

About 4.40pm on Wednesday a 27-year-old man attended a car dealership in Orange, where he allegedly stole a Holden Rodeo utility while inspecting the vehicle.
About 6.30pm the same day, police were patrolling Burrendong Road, Stuart Town, when they spotted the vehicle.
Police attempted to stop it, however the vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated.
However the pursuit was terminated shortly after due to dangerous manner of driving.
About 7.30pm the same day, the vehicle was sighted on Macquarie Street, Dubbo.
As the vehicle reached the intersection with Church Street, it hit three parked vehicles.
Police apprehended the driver after a short struggle.
He was taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for blood and urine tests as he was suspected to be under the influence of prohibited drugs.
The 27-year-old was then returned to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with take and drive conveyance, Skye’s Law (police pursuit), drive whilst disqualified and other traffic matters.
He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Thursday.
