On Thursday, Health Minister Jillian Skinner announced that a new $2.5 million ambulance station will be co-located with other health services at the Molong Multipurpose Service (MPS) site on King Street.
It will replace the existing station at Riddell Street and construction is expected to start later this year.
The MPS is due to be completed in late 2017.
“The new station will provide our paramedics with first-class resources to meet the current and future emergency mobile care needs of the communities of Molong and surrounds,” Mrs Skinner said.
The new station is part of the NSW government’s $122 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration program.
