It could have been an even bigger win had the Central Northern tail not wagged after being 8-95.
Western captain and Dubbo batsman Thomas Nelson top-scored for the blue and reds with 43, while Corey McDean (38) and Brock Larance (37) also contributed to the total of 221.
Western’s new-look opening bowling pair of Nic Hall and Dubbo’s Tom Atlee then did the damage early with the new ball, reducing the opposition to 3-4 early on.
They took care of Jacob Page (0), William Fort (2) and Matthew Lynch (0), to leave the New England-based side reeling with little chance of successfully chasing Western’s score.
Hall went on to be the standout bowler, finishing with 4-24 from 8.1 overs.
Tanvir Singh (2-6) and Larance (2-29) also did their part in the win.
Pearce, who has plied his trade superbly for Cavaliers so far this summer, bowled well without luck, finishing with good figures of 0-15 off five.
The Western Zone side will play off for third and fourth on Thursday’s final day of the under-16 NSW Country Championship, just missing out on a spot in the decider.
Riverina meet Newcastle will clash in the grand final.
Both those sides finished undefeated.
