Mr McLean said they’d be testing the water with a pre-sale promotion discount and would launch the online business on Saturday, January 21.
They started designing watches and while waiting for them to be made thought of what else they could sell.
Hence their range of bucket hats, which started as a bit of a gag but have become one of the strongest sellers in the pre-sale promotion.
While there’s hopes of expansion beyond the range of watches and bucket hats, Mr McLean said they were waiting to see how the initial launch went before committing to further growth.
