Orange PCYC club manager Geoff Potts said about 25 children have been attending each day in the first week but that will swell to about 40 next week.
“It’s still quite popular, not everyone one is lucky to have the week off work,” he said.
He said there are a lot of new faces in the first group but more regulars will come next week and there are likely to be more bookings closer to the day.
Michaela Sharp from Forest Reefs has attended the school holiday programs for the previous three school holidays.
She said she enjoyed spending time with friends and her favourite activity was playing mini golf.
The PCYC runs school holiday care between 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with a combination of free play and set workshops including group fitness and fort building as well as excursions to parks, mini golf and the movies.
