Central West Masonic Motorcycle Club members recently donated $1500 raised through club rides to Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Orange.
Club president Paul Evans said the charity was close to his heart.
“My daughter had problems having twins in a remote area and she was flown to Canberra [RMH],” Mr Evans said.
“I thought it would be a good thing personally to give to RMH Orange. All of the members thought it was a good thing too.”
Mr Evans said the donation was made to make life easier for families who stayed at the house.
“It’s just basically to help people who need it,” he said.
“They’ve got enough with the reasons they need it without a financial burden.”
RMH Orange provides accommodation for seriously ill children and their families as well as those with a high-risk pregnancy.
