Lenton has been in fine form with the bat for the Thunder Academy and smashed 73 against the Canterbury XI in New Zealand last week.
His own form aside, Lenton is looking forward to playing in both Orange, and more pressingly, alongside England captain Eoin Morgan.
“I grew up on the Central Coast and for me to get the big stars of NSW up to the central coast was a great feeling as a kid,” Lenton said.
“So to get out there and see the likes of an Eoin Morgan coming to the country is a wonderful experience and I’m excited just being a part of it.” A strong effort on Sunday will push Lenton’s claims for a BBL gig.
