St Vincent de Paul Bathurst Central Council president Maurie Ryan said there was great need for food hampers and vouchers at Christmas time. “This donation of $600 means the Society can assist more people and hopefully ease the stress this time of year can bring,” Mr Ryan said.
Rotary Club president John Mills said he was delighted to hand over the money. “It is an absolute pleasure for us to donate this money to the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal, where we know it will be put to good use,” Mr Mills said.
