Mrs Rimmer’s fifth novel ‘A Mother’s Confession’ was released by UK-based publishing house Bookouture on October 28.
The book is set in a fictional village near Bathurst and explores the lives of two women dealing with grief and the impact of domestic violence on a family.
The married mother of two has high hopes for the novel’s prospects.
“I’ve had a dream run of luck with my books over the last few years,” Mrs Rimmer said.
“Early sales of ‘A Mother’s Confession’ and reviews from professional readers have been excellent.
“I think this is my strongest book yet so I’m excited to see what the future holds for it.”
In anticipation of the book’s success, supporters of Mrs Rimmer’s career are holding a celebration at 6pm at Orange TAFE’s library.
Copies of all of Mrs Rimmer’s books will be for sale at Thursday event.
