A man in his 20s died at the scene of the crash. He was the sole occupant of that vehicle.
The other driver, also male, was taken to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition.
This is the 351st fatality on NSWs roads in 2016. According to the NSW Centre for Road Safety there has been a 24 per cent increase in driver fatalities on NSW's roads in 2016 compared to the same period last year.
