What happened to all the experts who told us to move away from grid roads and into "subtle curves that presented an ever-changing street vista and enhanced the natural variability of the visual environment..." or some such nonsense. How long until long sterile, boring straight roads are again cast aside for endless curves? Fashion is so much fun.
