Sydney radio stars Alan Jones and Ray Hadley will be broadcasting from Australia’s colour city on the verge of the state’s most important byelection.
The arrival of the broadcasters comes as the Orange byelection becomes almost too close to call. Both the Alan Jones Breakfast Show and the Ray Hadley Morning Show will broadcast from the Orange Ex-Services’ Club.
Mr Jones’ show will start from 5.30am and will be open to the public in the club’s bistro section from 6am.
At 9am Mr Hadley will take over the airwaves until midday. Both the broadcasters will share an hour on the radio from 9am until 10am.
Forced amalgamations, the aborted greyhound ban and residents’ issues are expected to be the focus.
After their radio shows, both Mr Jones and Mr Hadley will be holding a forum in the club’s Coral Sea room, starting at 5.30pm for 6.30pm with everyone welcome to attend.
