Man injured at Rodeo

A Forest Reefs bull rider is in a serious condition after being crushed by a bull at the rodeo last night.

Event organisers named the man as 19 year-old John Crasti.

Mr Crasti mounted the bull in the shute however the bull back flipped before it was released.

He was pinned to the ground for several minutes while the bull frantically attempted to correct itself.

An event organiser said the bull weighed about 680 kilograms.

He was treated on the scene by St John's Ambulance officers before paramedics arrived.

Paramedics took him to Orange Health Service.

He was then transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
