Monday is the final day of breast cancer awareness month and Orange surgeon Bill Mackie wants to raise awareness of new recovery therapy available.

For patients who have undergone mastectomies breast reconstruction is an option not previously available.
“(Reconstruction) can help patients recover from their cancer treatment. Historically options for regional women who elect to have mastectomies have been limited,” Dr Mackie said
