Andrew Eggleton was fined $800 for stealing a bottle of iron supplements valued at $18.99 from a chemist in Summer Street on August 1.
He was also fined $800 for stealing a packet of Sudafed brand pseudoephedrine tablets from an Orange department store the same day.
Eggleton did not appear in Orange Local Court on Monday where magistrate Terry Lucas issued the fines.
According to information provided by police Eggleton was at a chemist in Summer Street on August 1.
Police were also at the store where the loss prevention officer pointed out CCTV footage of Eggleton placing tablets in his pocket.
Police approached him outside and found him in possession of both sets of tablets.
