Answers to these questions will be made clear during a property seminar at the Hotel Canobolas on Wednesday, November 2.
The seminar is being hosted by McCormack Barber Real Estate, Domain and Crowe Howarth Accounting.
“Everyone is welcome whether you are a property investor working with us at McCormack Barber or not,” McCormack Barber principal Peter McCormack said.
One of the keynote speakers will be Domain Group’s chief economist Andrew Wilson, along with McCormack Barber’s senior property manager Erin Marr and Crowe Howarth partner Gary Holway.
Mr McCormack said Ms Marr would talk about investor services and how to best manage an investment property.
Meanwhile, Dr Wilson said there was only good news for Orange real estate which was unique market among regional cities.
“It doesn’t have the same feel as Dubbo or Bathurst and that’s starting to be recognised by buyers,” Dr Wilson said.
“Wagga’s market has come back a bit and Orange has moved forward. There’s been very strong growth over the quarter,” Dr Wilson said.
While the closure of Electrolux and slow-down in mining had affected the market, he said it was starting to pick up as the state’s economy grew.
“There only way is up, especially with a strong Sydney market and lower interest rates,” Dr Wilson said.
Crowe Howarth’s Gary Holway’s will focus on the numbers for investors.
“We’ll be there to talk about different tax structures, depreciation and banking options to assist you in getting the best return on your investment,” Mr Holway said.
