Gersbach, 50, of Moulder Street, faced her second drive while disqualified charge in Orange Local Court, after having been suspended from driving for two years and given a 12-month good behaviour bond for a pervious offence in March.
According to the police statement, officers were patrolling Glenroi Avenue just before 2pm on July 14 when the driver of a passing Toyota Camry shielded her face.
The car turned right onto Churchill Avenue before police pulled it over and Gersbach admitted to the officer her licence was suspended.
Her solicitor Gerry Stapleton told the court his client drove to help her daughter with childcare and wanted to complete community service with the Salvation Army.
Magistrate Terry Lucas awarded the mandatory disqualification.
“Next time, it’s jail,” he said.
