The Orange Black under 14s hammered the Blue Mountains by 169 runs in their Mitchell Cricket Council clash on Sunday.

Black was sent into bat after losing the toss, a move that proved to be a mistake by the Blue Mountains captain as the Orange top order piled on a big total of 7-263 off 50 overs.

Phoebe Litchfield top scored with an impressive 69 while, Harrison Grant provided strong support in the middle order with a solid 44 not out.

Litchfield and Grant set a healthy platform for the bowlers to attack the Blue Mountains batsman.

Bowlers Calib Smith and Thomas Madigan were in the thick of the action taking 3-7 off three overs and 2-7 off three overs. The Blue Mountain’s Adrien Gleeson provided some resistant with 36 not out and Jim Hale took 3-24 off seven overs.
