Trainer Lee Van Den Bos hopes the combination of a solid last race second place at Wellington, the return of regular jockey Mick Travers, a change of distance and a damp track will all work in Beau Hoffa’s favour in race seven, a class 2 handicap over 1200m. “We think the distance will suit. He impressed us the other day with his run,” she said.
