The owners of Scrumptious On Summer cafe have the taste for a Storm victory.
And they reckon they could be his good-luck charms.
“We have seen all his firsts,” said Mr Glasby.
“He was down at Penrith. We saw him for his Toyota Cup debut game, then his first Storm game against West Tigers and now his first grand final.”
And there is another first in the wings for the whole family.
“Tim’s wife, Casey, she’s four weeks off having a baby. We’re all a bit worried she might get a little bit too excited. It’s her first.”
The Glasbys will be going to the game at ANZ Stadium on Sunday with Tim’s parents (Max’s brother Graham and wife Tracie) who are driving down from Queensland for the big match.
Mrs Glasby said Tim and Casey had been a regulars in Orange over the years.
“He spent a lot of time with us when he was playing at Penrith. He and his wife, they were pretty homesick so they came and saw us.”
She said they would be going to the Storm grand final after-party on Sunday night and hoped to see the premiership trophy taking pride of place at the function.
