It was the second year in succession the TEKNO Autosport team owner had placed in the top three – doing it in 2105 with Shane van Gisbergen and this time as co-driver for Will Davison.
But now Webb wants to know what it feels like to stand on the podium at the Bathurst 1000.
Lead driver Davison won the 2009 Great Race and has another third placing to his credit, while the closest Webb has come was in 2014 when on track for a possible win only to have the starter motor fail with 11 laps to go.
