Taking on X-Men in Saturday’s decider, the undefeated Confederates proved why they were heavy favourites with a 5-1 win in the main game.
Captain-coach Nick Milne scored a hat-trick, while Tom Reddan and Trent Wilde also found the back of the net in the commanding, four-goal triumph.
Four of Feds’ five goals came in the second period, after the experienced X-Men side held the red and blues to 1-all in the first half – Luke Skelton finding the back of the net for the Servies club.
But they were no match for the free-flowing Feds side and the attacking skills of Milne, whose power and speed in front of goal was in full flight on Saturday.
In second division, Orange City won a spirited grand final 2-1 over CYMS.
