The annual event has received the green light, with funding for another year.
Donations were made from McCormack Barber for $30,000 cash and kind, Orange City Council for $25,000, OCTEC for $10,000, Pigot Miller Wilson for $5000 and Kennards Hire for infrastructure (including fencing and power).
Mayor John Davis said the fireworks display was one of the most successful events in the city’s annual calendar.
“Hundreds of people have gone to the fireworks in Bathurst in previous years,” Mr Davis said.
“It’s good that their needs have been met (here).”
McCormack Barber principal Peter McCormack said residents could expect a “world class” fireworks display.
“We expect around 4000 people to attend. It’s a great number for a relaxed environment,” Mr McCormack said.
Entry will be a gold coin donation which will go towards the Orange Health Service.
