Orange’s Mark Stephen Crump, 35, was extradited to Queensland on the weekend, accused of killing 43-year-old Gary John Ryan at Mundubbera on August 23.
He was not present at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday and the matter was adjourned to September 19.
Meanwhile, Dubbo man Trevor Spencer appeared in Dubbo Local Court on Monday on a charge of apprehension on a warrant.
He fronted magistrate Gary Wilson with bandages covering his hands and Mr Wilson granted the extradition order.
Detectives from the Orana Local Area Command arrested Mr Spencer at 12.20am on August 27.
Mr Ryan’s body was found with multiple stab wounds at a workshop and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but later died.
Spencer will appear in the Brisbane court on Tuesday.
