Owner Peter Gibson said the location had been temporary while he renovated his pottery and sculpture studio at the label’s Wallace Lane vineyard.
The moving date will be September 6 and Mr Gibson hoped to open within two weeks.
“We’re going to have small exhibitions of craft and art … and run small classes in drawing and ceramics and other things,” he said.
Wambigi welcomes Natalie
Centacare Bathurst has welcomed Natalie Crossley to the team at their Wambigi Community Support Service office in Orange.
Ms Crossley said she looked forward to the challenge after having worked with indigenous children at Calare Public School and Orange High School.
“I’m hoping that in this position I can help my community to arm themselves with knowledge and get the right type of assistance to deal with their issues, whether it’s parenting difficult teenagers or dealing with mental health concerns.”
Shoes galore
Leisures at Anson Street is having an opening sale to celebrate its larger store.
Owner Mike Newton-Brown said with many retailers downsizing or closing, he wanted to take the risk and grow.
“There are still people who want quality and service,” he said.
While the store no longer trades under the Eunice Jackson name, Mr Newton-Brown said he learned footwear from his grandmother and Eunice Jackson branded shoes were still sold.
Business workshop
ActionCOACH will run free workshops on September 1 and 29 at the Quality Inn Ambassador to learn strategies for how to build a better business.
The workshops will be hosted by owners, Mark Blume and Chris Morrison, who will present on business direction, market niche, building systems and teams, leadership and diversification.
