Orange Christian School year 12 student Emily Pierce completed the HSC trial exam for drama on Friday while year 11 student Nicholas Auberton completed the two unit maths exam.
Emily said she felt prepared for the exam, which involved two papers and four texts, comprised of two Australian drama texts and two tragedy texts.
“I think it went well. I studied hard so I hope it paid off,” she said.
Nicholas said when it came to study, a balanced approach and time for relaxation was important.
“I work a lot so that takes my mind off school,” he said.
“I also read a lot of comic books and watch television shows.”
Principal Melissa Brown said the trial exams were beneficial for students.
“They get a practice run in not only checking out what they know but checking out the style of questions,” she said.
HSC exams will commence on October 13.
