Mark Smith, Robyn Whiteley, Sarah Wells and Troy Robins were among a group of 10 TAFE Western who spent 17 days in Shanghai, spending time with the management of several prominent businesses, including Shanghai Disneyland.
For Ms Whiteley the trip’s benefits were both professional and personal.
“The culture and professional experience was fabulous, it was a great growth experience,” Ms Whiteley said.
“I really appreciate their work ethic in China. It was fabulous to learn from their business people and it was a great experience both academically and personally.”
The trip was the fourth TAFE Western Outbound Mobility Program held in China in the past 12 months, following on from previous childcare, nursing and hospitality study tours.
