ONCE upon a time, young people could take photographs of themselves – and of each other – and be reasonably sure that the resultant images would not fall into the wrong hands. Yes, someone could get hold of the negative, or copy the original, but the subject would generally have to be a celebrity before anyone would go to such lengths.
