77 roads will be rehabilitated or resealed as part of the council's expanded roads budget.
The 77 roads set for a facelift thanks to a $5 million boost to Orange City Council’s roads budget were identified through community feedback and prioritised in council's plans.
More roads will be added to the list in coming months, but so far the council has revealed a list of 35 to be resealed and 42 set for rehabilitation.

Resealing involves new bitumen over existing bitumen to keep the surface intact to stop water getting into the pavement below and causing potholes or pavement failures.

Rehabilitation involves digging up the pavement, resetting and reshaping and the addition of binding additives for strength.
