On Saturday the Rams will welcome the Temora Tuskers to King George Oval for the southern division major semi-final.
Should they prevail they will return to their home ground on Saturday, August 20 to defend their premiership.
On current form the odds are that’s precisely what will happen, with the two blues fresh off a massive 81-7 victory over their 2015 decider opponents Canowindra Pythons.
The result and scoreline boosted the Rams’ already impressive 2016 record: 12 wins and one draw from 14 starts.
Blayney’s attack has been particularly effective, with their season total of 620 points averaging out to more than 44 points per game, all the while conceding just 10.
The loser of Saturday’s clash will host the winner of the minor semi-final being played on the same day between Cootamundra and West Wyalong.
