MITCHELL will start its junior representative season tomorrow with the council clashing with Macquarie Valley in three age divisions.
Mitchell and Macquarie will clash in under 12s, 14s and 16s tomorrow at Mudgee.
Orange and Millthorpe players feature in all three Mitchell sides.
In the under 12s, Millthorpe’s Cooper Bingham is joined by Orange’s Sam Ridley.
Orange’s Michael Hannelly and Hugh Britton will combine with Millthorpe’s Charles Mortimer and Josh Coyte in the under 14s.
The under 16s will include Orange’s Charlie Litchfield and Sam Nicholls.
Other players in the teams are from Bathurst, Mudgee and the Blue Mountains.
The representative season will this year increase from four games to two.
There is normally a girl’s representative team for these matches but a shortage of players this week means no games will be played.
Girls coach Carolyn Sheehan is hopeful of attracting a few girls to make up a team for the next round against Lachlan Valley at Cowra on November 4.
Tomorrow’s games in Mudgee will all be 50 overs a side and start at 10am.
The under 16s play at Victoria Park, the under 14s are at Cahill Park and the under 12s will play at Mudgee racecourse.
